Everybody loves to go on holiday, there is no arguing with that, but easily the worst part has to be the procedures.

When it comes to airports, 9/11 has done us no favours as the delays seem even longer and people are even more stressed than they were before. The worst thing about the airport has definitely got to be the security checks that must be endured. It is understandable that everyone must put their bags through a scanner as nobody wants something happening to the plane and risk losing their lives but do they have to treat everybody like criminals and be so rude?

On top of this, they seem to enjoy throwing your bags around as much as they can? It seems that whenever you see your baggage at the airport, it is either being thrown around by a person or a machine. When the luggage comes down the belt at your destination, there never seems to be any padding, meaning all your valuables will more than likely be broken.

People who try to get onto the aeroplane first are such a big pain. Why even bother? People like to try and get on first, even when their row number has not been announced. This in turn annoys the people who have been called, who are then stuck at the back of an unnecessary queue. Why do they do this? The plane will not take off until everybody is on board, and surely the less time you spend on the plane the better as by now you would have already read the paper/magazines and worked your way through your entire playlist on your Mp3 player.

However, this is something that must be endured to get to your favourite destination. If this all happens to you just remember that you are off on holiday whether that is on one of thoseUSA tours or anAlaskan cruise you are sure to have a good time. That is of course if you have managed to get through the airport in the first place!
