So the planned holiday is ready to take flight, and you have everything you need. What the main things for you to actually worry about when you go on a safari in ?

  1. Many people look forward to seeing an Elephant on safari. Elephants can be domesticated but they can even become extremely deadly, the Asiatic and African elephants both go through a random phase of frenzy called Musth, which literally translated means “Mad”.
  2. There are some that you will naturally have a fear of, such as the Leopard. Leopards are extremely fast, outrunning it is impossible, not to mention they have big teeth and big claws. Professionals say that if you come face to face with one of these , your should stand still! These are generally quite shy and will back away from you, finding them is tricky.
  3. This one is debatable by some, and everything depending on how it reacts depends on how you act. This is the Sambar Deer, a beast of all dears, extremely large. They are generally very calm and do not attack normally unless they feel threatened. When they all get on the move, each one of these weighing around 250 kilos, not a good idea to stand in front of them.
  4. If your bored of hearing about mammals here are a couple of reptiles. The Swamp Crocodile is one of those animals that will lash out at almost anything that approaches it, many animals and people are considered food. These animals may be fast in the water, but they can also speed over short distances on island.
  5. Finally is a lizard, but it is quite a large one. The Monitor lizard is a large and powerful reptile measuring about 7 feet in length. Make sure you avoid this animal!

Still fancy Sri lanka holidays, in all realities, these animals are never going to be a problem on your vacation. If you want something more relaxing maybe you should try Luxury holidays, how about Dubai holidays?
