The San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park is a zoo in the San Pasqual Valley area of San Diego, California. It is one of the largest tourist attractions in the city and Southern California. The Park houses a large array of wild and endangered animals including species from the continents of Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Australia. The park is in a semi-arid environment, based around Nairobi village in Kenya, and one of its most notable features is the Journey into Africa tram which explores the expansive African exhibits. These free-range enclosures house such animals as cheetahs, antelopes, lions, giraffes, okapis, elephants, zebras, Przewalski’s horses, rhinos, and bonobos. This park has the world’s largest veterinary hospital and next door to the hospital there is the Institute for Conservation Research.
Well I think this is the most successful program in the country.

First, I want to preface this by saying that I’m a HUGE animal lover, and I think the San Diego Zoo is awesome and one of the best I’ve been to in the world, along with maybe the Seoul Zoo.
However, this is the Wild Animal Park, now aka the Safari Park. I last came here about 15 years ago or so. Back then, you could ride the tram in the park and get closer to the animals out in the free roaming areas.
I would love to visit this San Diego zoo because i m an animal lover .And the main feature of this park that attracts is tram..I m thrilled to get a ride on this tram.Yeah… even i have heard that it is also famous for its condor breeding program.
Overall it seems to be a great educational park and worth seeing packs of animals roaming around in a big open habitat…i like to see wild animals!
