The International Spy Museum is a privately owned museum dedicated to the field of espionage located in the Penn Quarter neighborhood of Washington, D.C., and one block south of the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro station.

The museum was built by The Malrite Company at a cost of US$40 million. Despite being one of the few museums in Washington that charges admission fees, it has been immensely popular since its opening in July 2002. Washington, D.C. sightseeing tours.

The National Mall is an open-area national tract in downtown Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States. The National Mall is a organization of the National Park Service, and is administered by the National Mall and Memorial Parks unit. The term “National Mall” commonly includes areas that are officially part of West Potomac Park and Constitution Gardens to the west, and often is taken to refer to the entire area between the Lincoln Memorial and the Capitol, with the Washington Monument providing a division slightly west of the center. The National Mall receives approximately 24 million visitors apiece year.

The Washington National Cathedral, officially called the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul and designated by Congress as the non-denominational National House of Prayer, is a cathedral of the Episcopal Church in the United States, popularly called the Episcopal Church USA. Located in Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States, it is the sixth largest cathedral in the world and second largest in the United States. The cathedral is the official seat of both the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church USA and its Diocese of Washington, composed of the District of Columbia and the Charles, Montgomery, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s Counties in Maryland. Smithsonian Institution

The Smithsonian Institution is an educational and research institute and associated museum complex, administered and funded by the government of the United States and by funds from its endowment, contributions, and profits from its shops and its magazine. Most of its facilities are located in Washington, D.C., but its 19 museums, zoo, and eight research centers include sites in New York City, Virginia, Panama, and elsewhere. It has over 142 million items in its collections. A monthly magazine published by the Smithsonian Institution is also named the Smithsonian.
