The Bolshoi Theatre (Large Theatre) is a historic theatre in Moscow, Russia, designed by famed architect Joseph Bové, which holds performances of ballet and opera. The company was founded in 1776 by Prince Peter Urussov and Michael Maddox. Initially, it held performances in a private home, but in 1780, it acquired the Petrovka Theatre and began producing plays and operas. The current building was built on Theatre Square in 1824 to replace the Petrovka Theatre, which had been destroyed by fire in 1805. It was designed by architect Andrei Mikhailov, who had built the nearby Maly Theatre in 1824. At that time, all Russian theatres were imperial property. Moscow and St Petersburg each had only two theatres, one intended for opera and ballet (these were known as the Bolshoi Theatres), and one for plays (tragedies and comedies). As opera and ballet were considered nobler than drama, the opera houses were named “Grand Theatres” (“Bolshoi” being the Russian for “large” or “grand”) and the drama theatres were called “Smaller Theatre” (“Maly” being the Russian for “small,” “lesser,” or “little”). Moscow is interesting tourist destination.
It is named after the city of Potsdam, some 25 km to the south west, and marks the point where the old road from Potsdam passed through the city wall of Berlin at the Potsdam Gate. After developing within the space of little over a century from an intersection of rural thoroughfares into the most bustling traffic intersection in Europe[citation needed], it was totally laid waste during World War II and then left desolate during the Cold War era when the Berlin Wall bisected its former location, but since the fall of the Wall it has risen again as a glittering new heart for the city and the most visible symbol of the new Berlin- Berlin is very nice with lot of tourist interesting places.
Mozart generally called himself “Wolfgang Amade Mozart” as an adult, but there were many variants. Salsburg is very nice tourist city with historical tourist attractions.

Lindos is a town and an archaeological site on the east coast of the island of Rhodes, in the Dodecanese in south-eastern Greece. It is about 55km south of the town of Rhodes and its fine beaches make it a popular tourist and holiday destination. Lindos is situated in a large bay and faces the fishing village and small resort of Haraki. Above the modern town rises the acropolis of Lindos, a natural citadel which was fortified successively by the Greeks, by the Romans, the Byzantines, the Knights of St John and the Ottomans. This makes the site difficult to excavate and interpret archaeologically. The acropolis offers spectacular views of the surrounding harbors and coastline. Greece is one of best travel location in Mediterranean with lot of historical travel attractions.

Marienplatz (Mary’s Square) is a central square in the city center of Munich, Germany since 1158. In the Middle Ages markets and tournaments were held in this city square. The Glockenspiel in the new city hall was inspired by these tournaments, and draws millions of tourists a year. Marienplatz was named after the Mariensäule, a Marian column erected in its centre in 1638 to celebrate the end of Swedish occupation. It is home to Munich’s Old City Hall (Altes Rathaus) and the New City Hall (Neues Rathaus). Munich’s old city hall is the most easterly building on the square. It’s a gothic council hall and ballroom and tower, which have been reconstructed. The New City Hall was built 1867 – 1909 in Flanders gothic style; its facade, over 300 feet in length, features strikingly elaborate stone ornamentation. Its 260-foot tower with carillon is, with the nearby St. Peter’s Church and the twin towers of the Cathedral, one of the most distinctive features of the city’s skyline.” explains muenchen.de, which also ranks Marienplatz as one of the top ten sites in Munich. Great tourist destination.
The Halaszbastya or Fisherman’s Bastion is a terrace in neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque style situated on the Buda bank of the Danube, on the Castle hill in Budapest, around Matthias Church. It was designed and built between 1895 and 1902 on the plans of Frigyes Schulek. Its seven towers represent the seven Magyar tribes that settled in the Carpathian Basin in 896. The Bastion takes its name from the guild of fishermen which was responsible for defending this stretch of the city walls in the Middle Ages. It is a viewing terrace, with many stairs and walking paths. A bronze statue of Stephen I of Hungary mounted on a horse, erected in 1906, can be seen between the Bastion and the Matthias Church. The pedestal was made by Alajos Stróbl, based on the plans of Frigyes Schulek, in Neo-Romanesque style, with episodes illustrating the King’s life. It was featured as a Pit Stop on the sixth season of The Amazing Race. Great tourist city in middle of Europe.
On completion, it was the largest suspension bridge in the world and the first steel-wire suspension bridge. Originally referred to as the New York and Brooklyn Bridge, it was dubbed the Brooklyn Bridge in an 1867 letter to the editor of the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, and formally so named by the city government in 1915. Since its opening, it has become an iconic part of the New York skyline. In 1964 it was designated a National Historic Landmark. New York is great tourist place, specially for shopping, now with low dollar rate.
