The Teatro Real (Royal Theater) or simply The Real (as it is known colloquialy), is an opera house in Madrid. It was inaugurated on 10 October 1850, with Donizetti’s La Favorite and is one of the world’s finest stage and acoustic settings for opera.
The Royal Theater, Madrid
The construction of the Real was ordered by the Queen Isabel II, hence its name, the Real (royal in Spanish). The Teatro Real is located just in front of the Palacio Real, the official residence of the Kings of Spain. The most successful years of the opera house (including the visit of Giuseppe Verdi to present his new opera La Forza del Destino) were from its construction in 1850 to 1925, when the theater had to be closed because of the damage that the construction of the Metro de Madrid had caused on the building. Tourist destinations for music fans.

Atocha, Madrid
Atocha Station is the largest railway station in Madrid. It is the primary station serving commuter trains (Cercanías), intercity and regional trains from the south, and the AVE high speed trains from Seville (Andalusia) and Barcelona (Catalonia). These train services are run by the Spanish national rail company, Renfe. The station was Madrid’s first railway station. It was inaugurated on 9 February 1851 under the name Estación de Mediodía (Atocha-Mediodía is now the name of an area of the Arganzuela district, and means in old Spanish south). After the building was largely destroyed by fire, it was rebuilt and reopened in 1892. The architect for the replacement, in a wrought iron renewal style was Alberto de Palacio Elissagne, who collaborated with Gustave Eiffel. Madrid has equal tourist attractions like Barcelona sightseeings tours.

Piazza del Popolo, Rome

The Piazza del Popolo is a square in Rome. The name in modern Italian literally means “piazza of the people”, but historically it derives from the poplars (populus in Latin, pioppo in Italian) after which the church of Santa Maria del Popolo, in the northeast corner of the piazza, takes its name. The Piazza lies inside the northern gate in the Aurelian Walls, once the Porta Flaminia of ancient Rome, and now called Porta del Popolo. This was the starting point of the Via Flaminia, the road to Ariminum (modern Rimini) and the most important route to the north. At the same time, before the age of railroads, it was the traveller’s first view of Rome upon arrival. For centuries, the Piazza del Popolo was a place for public executions, the last of which took place in 1826. Rome is grate city for summer holidays or honeymoon vacations.
