In the starting line up is the Lily Beach Resort. It was clearly a hotel built for the royalty of the world. On a small island there isnt much to do other than relax and get seriously pampered. This is a very expensive holiday, but every penny is worth it, this is where you come to feel like royalty. You have the option to go diving, or learn to. There is a sports complex as well so if you fancy a work out then you have all you need.

Secondly is the Diva Island Resort. This 5 star hotel is truly gorgeous; when you stay here you get a little complex all to yourself. The villas that you stay in are of amazing luxurious quality, and the swimming pools are as clear as the ocean. There are beaches that stretch on for miles, you can walk all the way around the island and just kick back and relax on the beach. This is like taking a vacation in heaven, the sand is pure white and the sea is crystal blue. This resort is also a little cheaper than the Lily Beach.

We then have the Baros Maldives Hotel. This island is equally as beautiful as the others, but does not have as many activities, it is however not as expensive. This although may not be quite so expensive, the accommodation is just as good. There is no chance of getting stressed here, the hotel works at its best to keep you calm and relaxed. As i was looking round the island i found out that a biologist lived here and she took me Scuba diving. If there are some of you that like Big Game fishing, then you’re in the right place? There is great sea life here, swimming with Whale sharks is a must do. As a fantastic bonus, there is always the option to go Catamaran sailing.

So I would recommend one of these for Maldives holidays, but if youre looking for a similar yet not as expensive holiday, try Sri Lanka holidays, they are just as luxurious, and known for their spa treatments! For holidays of truly major expense, you should go for Dubai holidays, the holidays of kings.

So here I was in Dubai, but nowhere to stay, probably not the best thing in the world. I travelled down Sheikh Zayed road, finding only hotels that would cost about 200 pounds a night at the least. This I couldnt really afford, so I scoured the rest of the city in search of something a little more in my price range. Although I really wanted to stay at the Burj Al Arab, this really wasn’t suitable, then I located one that was just right. The Copthorne hotel was available, and it was 4 stars.

I couldn’t believe how amazing this place was. It only cost 80 dollars a night, which meant I could stay for about a week. I had a look everywhere possible. I took a walk along the Jumeira beach and saw the artificial landscaping of the hotels and villas. Then there was the Burj Al Arab, what an iconic piece of engineering. Unfortunately I could not enter, apparently the food and drink costs more than my room does for the week.

I can’t even begin to tell you how great the food was, i was surprised that it was better than places like Sri lanka or Thailand. I plan on going back on Dubai holidays more often, Maldives holidays and Sri Lanka holidays will be the next on the list. These are the holidays that I recommend to you, they are by far the best in the world (in my opinion).

It has been argued that Maldives holidays are the new Caribbean holidays. The Maldives consists of around 1200 islands ad islets, and is famous for its calm and temperate atmosphere. The Maldives has a very warm climate, much like the Caribbean, and in most cases has extremely luxurious hotels and resorts. Some of the resorts are of high quality, but so are the ones in St Lucia or Barbados. So why do people really want to come here? The prices for these holidays have now been lowered to attract more customers, and the searches on the internet have shown a dramatic increase in tourists looking for these holidays.

Sri Lanka holidays are for the Back Packer. If you like to go out and explore your surroundings, then Sri Lanka will provide you with endless fun. Recently search results have shown that Safari searches in Sri Lanka have increased, which is strange because many people believed that Africa was the only place to Safari. Obviously prices have an impact here. Although you wont be able to see Lions, the Sri Lankan surroundings offer a wide range of flora and fauna.

So why have Dubai holidays started to prosper from an influx of visitors? This is a hard one to understand. The holidays here are arguably the most expensive in the world. Because of the many 6 star and 1 supposed 7 star hotels, Dubai is often referred to as the most luxurious place around. The recession could be at a near end though, or is this thought a little premature, Dubai holiday prices are coming down however? The only way to tell is to wait until next year and see how many holidays abroad do get booked!

Maybe you have been thinking about a holiday to Sri Lanka, you will be completely awe struck by the luxury holidays available. Almost all of Sri Lankas resorts are of unbelievable quality, all of which are high star rated as well. Many of Sri Lankas resorts offer a wide range of spa treatments. As with Thailand, Sri Lanka is starting to benefit a great deal from the spa holidays that are becoming so popular.

Other than the spa treatments on offer, Sri Lanka also supplies tourists with the option to embark on some inspirational adventures. The iconic mountain in Sri Lanka called Sri Pada is more commonly known as Adam’s Peak. This is the place believed by Christians and Muslims to be where Adam was cast out of the Garden of Eden, apparently the legends of Adam are connected to the idea that Sri Lanka was the original Garden of Eden. Reaching heights well over 2000 metres, this is one massive mountain, but make sure you don’t try and climb it in the rainy season.

You can also head out on safari tours in Sri Lanka, which have become very popular. There are now many different tours, exploring caves or travelling to an elephant orphanage. You can even scour some of the mountains to se if you can uncover any of the famous gems that cover Sri Lankas country side like sapphires or rubies.

Maldives holidays, Sri Lanka holidays and Dubai holidays are increasingly becoming the first choice of holiday by any tourist, most of this is due to prices and the more common knowledge of these fantastical places.

Although the Caribbean offers so much to all of it’s tourists, there are other countries in the world that can do the same thing, for cheaper. Now what about the countries in Asia? If you come from America or Britain, you ma not know as much about Sri lanka as you think, it is an amazing country? Culture is very diverse here, not to mention completely different to that which we as westerners are used to. These countries are unique compared to any other in the world. Sri Lanka is quite well known for the wildlife that it has, The Flora and Fauna are very diverse.

Sri Lanka has much to offer those that wont to experience an adventure, this place can give people an insight into their lives and to see what a beautiful country it really is. Sri Lanka holidays have been quite popular in the past, but not as much so as they are now. Almost from nowhere these holidays have started to spiral into the top 5 most desired locations to holiday. So will this holiday be able to reach the top of most sought after holidays, above Egypt? Egypt has much past and culture to offer everyone, it is just a case of whether or not the holiday experience is better?

So what about Maldives holidays? Well these are a great contender to Caribbean holidays and Egypt holidays. Maybe not because of the land that they hold, but because of the water that surrounds them. The Maldives doesnt have much in the way of land, but it does have probably the clearest seas in the world. There are some great diving destinations in the Maldives, somewhere for everyone to go diving, even families and really enjoy themselves.
