The Guadalajara Cathedral or the Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady, located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, is the Catholic cathedral of the Archdiocese of Guadalajara and a minor basilica. It is built in Renaissance style, with neo-Gothic towers.
The cathedral is located in a region that is 77.8 x 72.75 meters. It contains altars dedicated to the Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Sorrows, Virgin Zapopan (Guadalajara patron saint), St. Dominic, St. Nicholas, St. Thomas Aquinas, Saint Kitts and Saint John of God The altar is marble and silver. Stained glass was imported from France. remains Cathedral of St. Innocent of houses and the remains of three cardinals and many other former bishops of the diocese. It also includes cardiac former Mexican president.
