Playland, often called Rye Playland and also known as Playland Amusement Park, is an amusement park located in Rye, New York. Run by Westchester County, it is the only government owned-and-operated amusement park in the United States. New York travel guides.

The Westchester County police will provide security for many years. However, the only park is patrolled 24 / 7 by an officer from April to October. In addition to the county police, the park also used the seasonal park ranger for help. Playland has its own paramedics, but ambulance services are provided by Port Chester – Rye – Rye Brook – Emergency Medical Service. The Rye Police Department provides police services during the winter. Rye Fire Department handles all calls for fire and rescue Playland.
