Universal Orlando Resort

is a theme park resort in Orlando, Florida. It is a joint partnership between NBC Universal and the Blackstone Group. The resort consists of two theme parks ( Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure), Universal CityWalk (a night-time ), and three Loews hotels. It is the largest property owned by , and is also the second largest resort in Orlando after the Resort. The resort began with the original Universal Studios Florida which opened on June 7, 1990. Expansion occurred in 1999, adding Islands of Adventure, Universal CityWalk, On-site hotels, and two multi-level parking structures. What was once a single theme park became a gargantuan much larger than Universal Studios Hollywood, as well as designed to be a head-to-head rival to Walt . The resort was originally named Universal Studios Escape but the name was quickly changed to . attractions.

Pier 39, San Francisco
is a shopping center and popular tourist attraction built on a pier in San Francisco, California. At , there are shops, restaurants, a video arcade, street performances, an interpretive center for the , the , virtual 3D rides, and views of California sea lions hauled out on docks on Pier 39′s marina. The marina is also home to the floating restaurant. The pier is located at the edge of the Fisherman’s Wharf district and is close to North Beach, Chinatown, and the Embarcadero. The area is easily accessible via the historic F Market streetcars. From the pier you can see Angel Island, Alcatraz, the , and the Bay Bridge. Blue & Gold Fleet’s Bay cruises leave from Pier 39.
