Why do people really like Sharm El Sheikh and what is so great about? Is there something that we really do love about this place that could explain why it is one of the most popular destinations for holidays in the world?

Sharm El Shiekh has two reasons why people are so interested to visit. The first is the diving aspect of this location. Sharm has been spoken about by many divers as probably the best locations in the world. One massive factor is simply the amount of biological diversity in the Red Sea, the corals in this ocean are very easy to find as there are so many, there are around 250 in this area alone! The Coral reefs are easy even for free divers to locate and even reach. The next big reason that divers believe this to be such a great place to go diving is that it is home to around 1000 different species of fish. This means that experienced divers can analyse a different group of fish each time they come here.

All of these diving goodies have brought another form of tourism to the coasts of Sharm El Sheikh; this is called “scientific tourism”. If you have a deep passion for something like this then this location is great for those that enjoy a “Science holiday”. These holidays are very popular with travel agents, mainly because the length of someones stay greatly increases.

The weather helps to bring in Tourists to this place. This is one of the warmest and driest places for people to go on holiday. With the rest of Africa as an exception this is one of the driest places on the planet, with a tiny amount of rain falling in its ground each year. The temperatures can even reach around 38 degrees at their peak in July.

Sharm El Sheikh holidays are great, they are even more popular than Caribbean holidays and Maldives holidays combined! St Lucia holidays and Barbados holidays will have to step up their game!

The Swine flu epidemic is still raging throughout the world. All of us thought that Swine Flu was starting to fade out, and cases had started to drop. Now Swine Flu has reached practically every corner of the planet, and is still taking lives. It is now that people are only really starting to realise that Swine Flu is here to stay for a while to come, what they want to know is what symptoms are on their way?

Swine Flu is something that can be distinguished relatively easily from the “normal” strain of Flu. Swine Flu is described as a virus that you either definately know you have, or you haven’t got it. Flu has a way of slowly moving its way through your immune system and makes its climax after a couple of days. Compared to other Viruses, Swine Flu is a fast acter, it damages the body as quikcly as possible. The Symptoms that you get with Swine Flu are very much the same as those that you get from the Common Flu, such as Back aches and muscle ache, Nausea. The main difference is that all these symptoms are explained by those that have had it as 15 times worse and extremely difficult to move, even get out of bed.

The tourism industry has once again been smacked by the Swine Flu Virus. Over the school half term, around 40 children who were going on holidays with families to Egypt were quarantined under suspicion of having the virus. The place these people were taken to has been slammed, the conditions were horrible. A sensor in the Airport they arrived at alerted guards to the children’s unusually high body temperatures, and they were whisked off to a hospital. This has proved that the Swine Flu virus ont be going away quietly, and now with Premiership football players being diagnosed with the virus, it shows its still spreading.

Egypt holidays have taken a bit of a crash recently; Caribbean holidays including St Lucia holidays have been very successful through the Swine Flu era.

So you’ve been dreaming of that white Christmas, the one where your wonderland is covered in snow¦.. It would seem that lately people are more interested in the warmth that Christmas brings, not just to our hearts (Ahhh) but also to our bodies.

Baking in the sun seems to be the new thing at Christmas, so no longer is Snow the king of the Christmas period, soon it will be forgotten. There are holidays available around the world, and when Christmas comes in, there are loads of offers and bargains around. And this year it would appear that you, the tourists want to go on these holidays. Christmas holiday sales are already up this year, and many of you are looking for locations like St Lucia or Barbados.

When you consider where these holidays are, the prices all around are very good. The competition is out there and tour operators are doing what they can to bring prices down and offer us the best deals, to try and entice us into theChristmas holidays they have available. There must be a reason that people want these holidays, but what is it that makes them so sought after.

Seeing as the worlds temperature keeps on going up, for those that don’t like the cold, this is good news. Its only good for three things; snow ball fights, building snowmen and sledging. People now what to sit on a beach, and enjoy Christmas, instead of being stuck at home worrying that you have got people what they want. Nowadays the best thing that you can do for your family, is to take them on holiday. Its hard for anybody to complain about a Christmas present like this, and it is great fun for everyone.

In a sense theme park holidays were considered holidays for families. This was normally thought of as a family holiday. It would appear that the holiday packages offered by theme parks are more enticing than others, even couples are staying at them. Amazingly some of the holidays to theme parks are really quite cheap, considering some of the packages they offer.

Well the biggest and most appropriate answer to this is that the prices have become extremely competitive with other holidays. When the prices started to fall they started to compete with St Lucia holidays or Barbados holidays. This made Theme Park holidays a big contender for some luxury holidays as well.

The quality of some of the hotels has been on the increase since they were built. It wouldn’t be long before Disney could get a way into the new tourism industry, as soon as customers have somewhere to stay. Disney World is probably the most successful for this; they always have offers on and even specialise in holidays for couples as well.

What could they bring to tourists next though, surely they had exhausted all other avenues? Well I believe Disney was the first to start this, but the next decision was weddings. Once you have a holiday destination and a series of hotels on it, the next thing to do is surely to offer people the chance to get married. If you take it from Disney’s point of view, they will be able to get more people to come to their theme park, not to mention more money.

What does this mean for the other holidays, like spa holidays or diving holidays? So pretty soon can we not expect Disney to start taking over other holiday sectors? I wouldnt count Disney world out of this, pretty soon they will have a small ocean in the backyard for people to go diving in!

Caribbean holidays and Egypt holidays have been holding the positions at the top of the tables as the top holidays for a few years now. So is it not time for a new leader at the top of that board? Although the Caribbean offers so much to all of it’s tourists, there are other countries [...]

Caribbean holidays and Egypt holidays have been holding the positions at the top of the tables as the top holidays for a few years now. So is it not time for a new leader at the top of that board?

Although the Caribbean offers so much to all of it’s tourists, there are other countries in the world that can do the same thing, for cheaper. Now what about the countries in Asia? If you come from America or Britain, you ma not know as much about Sri lanka as you think, it is an amazing country? Culture is very diverse here, not to mention completely different to that which we as westerners are used to. These countries are unique compared to any other in the world. Sri Lanka is quite well known for the wildlife that it has, The Flora and Fauna are very diverse.

Sri Lanka has much to offer those that wont to experience an adventure, this place can give people an insight into their lives and to see what a beautiful country it really is. Sri Lanka holidays have been quite popular in the past, but not as much so as they are now. Almost from nowhere these holidays have started to spiral into the top 5 most desired locations to holiday. So will this holiday be able to reach the top of most sought after holidays, above Egypt? Egypt has much past and culture to offer everyone, it is just a case of whether or not the holiday experience is better?

So what about Maldives holidays? Well these are a great contender to Caribbean holidays and Egypt holidays. Maybe not because of the land that they hold, but because of the water that surrounds them. The Maldives doesnt have much in the way of land, but it does have probably the clearest seas in the world. There are some great diving destinations in the Maldives, somewhere for everyone to go diving, even families and really enjoy themselves.
