NYC Hotel Deals

La Quinta Inn Manhattan located on West 32nd Street is a nice affordable two star hotel with a fantastic location and when you are searching for hotels in Manhattan the most important thing is the location!

La Quinta Inn is very close to Garden (home of the NBA’s Knicks and the NHL’s Rangers and many great concerts), the legendary Empire State Building, and the Manhattan Mall. It is also very close to a lot of very good restaurants, most notably all of the truly excellent Korean BBQ restaurants that are right next door! If you haven’t tried Korean BBQ before then you are in for a true treat; it is delicious.

This hotel’s close proximity to Madison Square Garden makes it a great place to stay if you are in town to see an NHL or NBA game or a concert at the legendary arena. By having a hotel near MSG you won’t have to have much concern about how many beers you have at the big game!

Times Square is just 10 short blocks up (while you are in the city will find out that “short blocks” are streets and the “long blocks” are avenues in .)

The hotel is also quite close to public transportation so you can quite easily go just about anywhere in New York without spending a bundle on a cab or walking for miles! Of course there is no shortage of things to do and see in so I won’t even try to start listing them.

If you plan on doing a lot of tourist stuff then I would recommend reading this New York Pass Review to see if the is something that would save you money during your NYC visit.

While La Quinta Inn Manhattan is definitely a five star hotel, it does have all of the basic amenities that you really need to have during your stay in the city including security, indoor parking, and temperature control along with some nice bonuses like cable television (but you really shouldn’t sitting around watching TV when you’re in the most exciting city in the US.)

New York Hotel Deals

There are so many things to do in New York that narrowing them down to a list of just ten is difficult. For your information, this list of ten things to do in New York City is focused on people who mostly want to do “tourist activities” rather than people who want to experience “real .”

1. Empire State Building. The most famous building in the world for about 80 years now and sadly because of the horrible of 9/11/01, it is once again the tallest skyscraper in . Take a trip to the top of the building for an incredible view!

2. The Statue of Liberty. Ever since France sent this wonderful statue to the States it has been a great symbol of our country and the idea of freedom.

3. Food on Foot Tours. I strongly recommend taking a food tour! The dining in is amazing.

4. Museum of Modern Art. I could fill this list up entirely with museums but I’m trying to mix it up a bit.

5. The Met. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is the most popular museum in the US.

6. Natural History Museum. This is the one with the dinosaur bones. They are incredible! A must see for anyone with a curious mind.

7. On Location Tour. See famous sites from movies and television!

8. Bodies… The Exhibition. I actually think this is really creepy but if you are interested in seeing the bodies of deceased people up close then this is the exhibition for you.

9. Bicycle Rental at Central Park. Rather than just taking a walk in Central Park, you can rent a bike and take a ride through it.

10. Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. It’s amazing how real the wax statues look!

All ten of these things are included as a part of the . Read this New York City Pass Review to learn about it.

No matter what you want to do while you are there, you should use New York City Hotel Deals for your hotel reservations in the city.

Its remoteness from has made it a popular retreat, but also has provided an out-of-the-way area to relocate communities destroyed by urban renewal. The neighborhood is part of Board 14. As of January 1, 2007, the peninsula’s total population is estimated to be just below 130,000. Rockaway is split between New York’s 9th and 6th Congressional Districts with the 6th encompassing the easternmost portions of the peninsula and the 9th spanning the western end.
