Neuschwanstein Castle (German: Schloss Neuschwanstein, lit. New Swan Stone Castle) is a late 19th century castle in Germany, near Hohenschwangau and Füssen in southwest Bavaria, not far from the Austrian border. The castle also has 360 rooms and only 14 were finished with designs, the other 346 rooms were left undone because of the death of Ludwig. It is the most photographed building in Germany, and is one of Germany’s most popular tourist destinations.
