The National Museum of China flanks the eastern side of Tiananmen Square in Beijing, China. The mission of the museum is to educate about the arts and history of China. It is directed by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China. The museum was formed in 2003 out of two separate museums that already occupied the building: the Museum of the Chinese Revolution in the northern wing and the National Museum of Chinese History in the southern.
The Museum of the Chinese Revolution had been open since 1960 and had its origins in the Office of the National Museum of the Revolution, founded in 1950. The National Museum of Chinese History opened its doors in 1959 and had its origins in the Beijing National History Museum, founded in 1949, and the prior Preliminary Office of the National History Museum from 1912. The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is a recent and contemporary art museum designed by Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry, built by Ferrovial and located in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain.
It is built alongside the Nervion River, which runs through the city of Bilbao to the Atlantic Coast. The altruist is digit of individual museums belonging to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation. San Telmo
San Telmo is one of the oldest barrios (neighborhoods) of Buenos Aires, Argentina and also one of the best preserved areas of that constantly changing Argentine municipality and is characterized with a number of complex buildings. Cafes, tango parlors and alter shops line up the cobblestone (adoquines) streets, which are filled with artists and dancers. San Telmo’s some attractions include some older churches (e.g. San Pedro Telmo), museums, alter stores and a semi-permanent alter fair (Feria de Antiguedades) in the main public square, Plaza Dorrego. Plaka is the picturesque old historical neighbourhood of Athens, just under the Acropolis, incorporating labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture. It is visited by hundrends of thousands of tourists around the year. Museums in Plaka include the new Jewish museum, the Greek Folk Art Museum and the Frissiras Museum. Adrianou Street is the oldest street in Athens still in use. Great tourist place for vacation. Great time and fun.
