If you are going to visit, here are a few outstanding aspects of what the island has to offer.

The Na Pali Coast State Park

The view of a this park is 22 miles of volcanic cliffs that is accessible from helicopter or boat. Many tourism places have the opportunity to see these areas.

The Wailua River and Hidden Valley Falls

The river is a nice place for a relaxing time in a boat or kayak. There are tours that you can take that will take you along this river while you listen to Hawaiian music. The river runs past the Fern Grotto and as you look upon this the singers will continue serenade you.

The Makai Golf Course

The course was just remodeled adding paspalum turf, and other things too. If a golfer wants a leisurely game they can go to this course.

Na ‘Ania Kai Arboretum

These thirteen gardens span 240 acres and are graced with flowers, more than seventy sculptures, a beach, hardwood plantation, romantic canyon draped with ferns and moss, and a tranquil meadow. It is the perfect place for flower and garden lovers, with trails that wind through ferns, orchids, hibiscus, lobelia, viola, gardenia, geranium, and other sights of natural beauty.

Waimea Canyon and Koke’e State Park

With a length of ten miles, breadth of two miles, and a depth of 3, 600 feet, this canyon is quite a majestic sight. The river cliffs are red, brown and green – the result of volcanic flows. The Koke’e State Park boarders the canyon, and provides more than 45 hiking trails throughout its more than 4, 000 acres.

Limahuli Garden and Preserve

This 1,000 acre garden, voted best botanic garden by the American Horticultural Society, covers three different ecological zones along the north shore. There are tons of flowers that you can see as you walk along some of these trails.

The North Shore

The beaches that line the North Shore are lined with trails for those who have a penchant for challenging hikes.

One of the unique beaches is Glass beach. This is a great beach for beach combers because of all of the polished glass you can find. Strong currents and the high surf make this a good place for surfing and windsurfing.

Kauai Plantation Railway

A railway of traditional wooden cars the Plantation Railway that runs through plantation fields of sugar, native wildflowers, and pineapple, banana, papaya, coffee, and hardwood trees.

The South Shore

The beautiful scenes of sunsets, wildlife that includes monk seals, blowholes, and a scattering of quaint towns, offer places of quiet respite and enjoyment. This is a great place for snorkeling and snorkeling and scuba where you swim with dolphins, whales and all sorts of fish.

The Kauai Waterfalls

There are many beautiful waterfalls all over this island..

Kalihiwai Falls is a two tiered waterfall located on the north shore close to the #25 mile marker on Highway 56. It has a pool at the base that flows into kalihiwai Bay and is reached by a car, hiking or horseback.

One of the most favorite fall among the locals and also the tourists is the Kipu falls. Below the falls is a good place to jump into the deep water.

If you want a vacation here Kauai Wedding Planner can help you with your decisionto see if this is the right place for you. You might have seen this beach in Hollywood movies. Once you see this beach, you will think that it is a paradise. this beach has about a six acre area. because of the moutains and the ocean, this is a great place forpictures and sight seeing. Many older people like to call this beach Maniniholo. They call it this because of the Manini fish that are found at this beach.

This beach is a great place for camping. There are palm trees on this beach, which provides a good shade while relaxing on this beach. The waves are much bigger in the winter time. Many surfers like to challange this beach by surfing here. In the summer, the ocean is calm here. During the summer, you can enjoy swimming and snorkeling. This beach is covered with a grainy golden sand. It is a great beach to picnic. Different facilities like showers, picnic tables and restrooms are around this area.

You will not be able to find any life guards near this beach and it is also true that not many people like to swim here. many people wont swim here because there are no reefs to slow down the waves. Only experienced surfers should surf here. You should not be at this beach if you are a beginner or an amateur surfer. However, you can enjoy watching the activities of experienced surfers on this beach. This beach offers matchless beauty.

If you are wanting to be at Kauai beach Hawaii Wedding Planner can help.

These important tips that can help you have a great time while you are in Hawaii.

Tip #1 – No Touching a Nene – A Nene is the Hawaii state bird, and while they may look cute, they can be very defensive, especially if they have babies. These birds are also endangered species, so even if they look cute, touching or even approaching these birds are against the law. Ignoring this tip can cost you a heavy fine.

Tip #2 – Get the Flower Lei Greeting – One of the most exciting experiences to enjoy in Hawaii is the flower lei greeting, but some vacation packages may not have this greeting included. Before you make your final arrangements for your trip, make sure that you will get the flower lei greeting when you land in Hawaii. This tradition makes you Hawaiian vacation complete..

Tip #3 – Avoid Sunburn – When you are in Hawaii, chances are that you will be out in the sun a great deal. Getting burned is no fun, don’t forget the sunscreen.. It is best to wear sunscreen to prevent sunburn from occurring, but if you do end up with a burn, Aloe Vera gel and lidocaine are great for getting rid of the burn.

Tip #4 – Pack a Sweater or Jacket – While Hawaii is generally quite warm during the day time, at night it can get a bit cooler. You may want to pack a sweater or a light jacket when you go to Hawaii, evenings on the Hawaiian islands can get a little cool.. If wearing a jacket is not your style, make sure you pack a few shirts that have longer sleeves and are a bit warmer than what you would usually wear during the day so you are comfortable during the evenings.

Tip #5 – Take an Umbrella – If you are visiting Hawaii between October and May, you will probably want to pack an umbrella. Unless you’re a fan of walking or running in the rain, you will linkely need to have an umbrella just in case. Unless you love walking or running in the rain, you will need to have an umbrella just in case.

Don’t forget to check out some greate sites like Oahu Vacation Rentals to get ideas on the best places to stay, places to eat, beaches to visit and activities.
