Children’s Museum of Houston, is a museum for children located in the museum district of Houston in Houston, Texas. Museum considers more than 750,000 people annually, making it the most attended youth museum in the United States because of their size. Museum which is currently in expansion project has 14 galleries and exhibitions in the planning of innovative information practice activities for children ages birth to 12 years.

The museum broke ground August 27, 2007 the new museum wing. Growth leads to doubling the size of the museum, has a total of 83 000 square meters. This extension will expand the museum’s bilingual, awareness programs in local communities and provide classrooms and laboratories at the museum through the Institute for Family Learning. Even the site of the museum doubled Houston Public Library branch. New buildings must be added seamlessly to join the existing building and the house of seven new exhibition in the gallery is designed for families with interactive learning experiences. The funding for the new building became the capital campaign raised more than $ 35,500,000.
