Wizarding World of Harry Potter progress report

The title is correct and as of spring 2010 Harry Potters home will be in the theme park Islands of Adventure which is within the Universal Studios resort. The park is not basing the land on any of the books or films in particular but as a collection of all of those as a whole. They are working very closely indeed with WB with bringing the imagination of J.K Rowling to life. Continue reading »

EPCOT brings the world together

If you are a bit unsure on what the word EPCOT stands for it is Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. This idea actually originates from Walt and although it has now become a very successful theme park, the park itself was not planned at all by Walt himself.

Disney saw his grandchildren and thought to himself, what is going to happen to them when they are my age, what cities are going to be like then. Continue reading »

Holiday Car Hire Nightmare

A recent holiday break to Miami soon turned into a nightmare when found what turned out to be traces of cocaine in the trunk of our hire car.

My girlfriend and I had decided to take a last minute package holiday to . We’d been lucky enough to get a really cheap last minute fly-drive deal that gave us 7 nights to explore and enjoy the Gulf coast. Continue reading »
