The truly adventurous will not want to miss out on the newest adventure tour coming to Costa Rica. Above the Osa Peninsula in the coastal mountain range engineers are hard at work constructing the longest Superman line in the western hemisphere.
At twice the length of any other in the country it will be twice the fun too. Top speed on the ride will be around 55 to 60 mph and will last about 2 minutes give or take a few seconds. Riders will strap into a harness that holds them in a prone position and begin their rapid descent from 3,000 feet elevation and end the ride at 2,000 feet elevation.
The experience will zip the rider over the dense jungle and rain forest canopy. There are even sections that run through the trees making for an even greater thrill. Its an experience that is not for everyone but for some it will be the bomb.
The Superman line will be run by owners at Osa Mountain resort village. OMV is what residents have nicknamed the community and it is home to several popular attractions already. It looks like the future holds an incredible water slide for the property too.
Community residents operate all of the various tours located on the propertry. Many purchased thinking about the big Costa Rica business opportunity that lies there.
Local townspeople are very supportive of the development. Many locals are now working at the development helping with construction, maintenance or food production in the permaculture area.
The resort community offers adventure at their doorstep to travelers and Costa Rica citizens alike.
