It was designed and built between 1908 and 1910 by Lloyd Wright and is known as the greatest example of his Prairie Style, the first architectural style that was uniquely American. The sculpture was constructed between 2004 and 2006 and was temporarily unveiled in the summer of 2004. Nicknamed “The Bean” because of its legume-like shape, its exterior consists of 168 highly polished . The (MSI) is located in Chicago, Illinois, USA in , in the neighborhood adjacent to Lake Michigan. It is housed in the former from the 1893 World’s navigator Exposition. Initially endowed by Sears, Roebuck and Company chair and presenter Julius Rosenwald, it first opened in 1933 during the Century of Progress Exposition.
Among its different and expansive exhibits, the Museum features a working combust mine, a Teutonic sub (U-505) captured during World War II, a 3,500-square-foot (330 m2) model railroad, the first diesel-powered streamlined stainless-steel traveller train (Pioneer Zephyr), and a NASA spacecraft used on the Apollo 8 mission.
Based on 2006 attendance, the Museum of Science and Industry was the fourth largest cultural magnet in Chicago. It rose to ordinal place, based on 2007 attendance. Lots of travel guides can be found in Chicago.

Construction commenced in August 1970 and the building reached its originally anticipated on May 3, 1973. When completed, the Sears Tower had overtaken the roof of the World Trade Center in New York City as the world’s tallest building. The tower has 108 stories as counted by standard methods, though the building owners count the main roof as 109 and the mechanical as 110. The distance to the roof is 1,451 feet (442 m), measured from the east entrance. In February 1982, two television antennas were added to the structure, increasing its total height to 1,705 feet (520 m). The western antenna was later extended to 1,730 feet (527 m) on June 5, 2000 to improve reception of local NBC station WMAQ-TV. Interesting travel destination.
