im rightful in staying that every Caribbean country holds its own charm and character which attracts tourists to come back year after year but this will soon change once they’ve taken part in the many activities to do in Antigua!

Carnival Nobody knows how to throw a party like the Caribbean’s this is why the Antiguan carnivals Spans over an eleven day period were the country transforms into a pool of loud festive music, colour and costumes, feasting and drinking many factors of these are derived from the people past African culture which still runs strongly through the communities even now.

Beaches and shorelines there’s a beach in Antigua for everyday of the year, Yep all 365 pristine shore line’s which may prove to be a struggled when visiting them all on your Antigua holidays.

Water sports this is where Antigua outshines it’s other Caribbean counter parts in its unrivalled crystal clear azure waters which are perfect for Snorkelling, or Scuba diving (visibility underwater is a far as a football pitch) sailing or motor boating which brings me to mention that Antigua holds host to the most prestigious boat Show in the world the “Antiguan boat show”, Entourages of wealthy boaters cruise of fly to Lord Nelsons dock yard each and every year for the uncloaking of the world’s newest super yacht model’s by boat manufactures such as Sun Seeker or Princess.

Fig Tree drive What is this you may say? The fig tree drive is a 20 off mile venture through the rough countryside roads collecting freely grown fruit such as Mango, Coconuts, bananas or occasional a remote fishing village. Just to clear the name up “fig” is a local name of a banana, no idea why.

there’s are just a few of the little gems which Antigua has on offer although, you’ll possibly enjoy discover other Caribbean adventures on Cuba Holidays and identically hot climates on Mexico Holidays.

It gets to the low 80′s (f) pretty much every day. Its location is outside of the hurricane belt, so there are few chances for storms. Its rainy season runs from October through February. But, this typically only entails sporadic showers during the nigt and the daytime is mostly sunny. This is really no bad time to visit this tropical location. The lovely weather makes it perfect for many fun activities, and here are just some of them.

You will find excellent weather and there is a lot to do, all with the thrill of local culture that centers around 4 different languages. Dutch, Engilsh, Spanis, and Papiamento, are the official languages.

Seaquarium

This is an excellent place for kids. They can have the chance to meet and interact with some of the local marine life. Maybe you would like to go snorkeling with tropical fish and sea turtles. And there is a wonderful beach there that everyone is sure to love. The beach area has water sports as well as places to grab a bite. Do not forget to visit the museum and theater, too. They are outstanding learning areas for everyone.

Dolphin Academy

Your kids may never forget an adventure with the dolphins. Here, you can get right in the water with them. If you are lucky, you can get to take ride with a dolphin. Trainers are on staff to show you how to best interact with the dolphins.

You can take a 2 or 3 day course in dolphin training. The course covers the basics of working with dolphins. Some courses are designed specifically for kids, but there are ones for adults too. And don’t miss out on the open water diving program offered here, it’s a great way to check out the coral reefs up close.

It’s easy to see why so many people choose Curacao as their vacation destination for Caribbean family holidays.

Amy Wine House knows exactly what stress is! as many of us are quite aware she cracked under the pressure of the Media at a young age and it nearly ruined her career, She married a loser who Lead her down the wrong road this cannot of been easy for Amy who is doing her best to flip her life around but still the majority of us see Amy in a negative outlook.

Amy has spent the best part of the last 2 years sorting herself out and finding her feet who knows she may be in the process of recording a new album, recently she seems much more relaxed, it’s probably because she hasn’t been in the eyes of the media who usually follow her like a bad smell.

Where’s the back to black singer been?

Last week Amy arrived back in England returning from a well deserved extended luxury retreat in the Caribbean, St Lucia to be exact at the Prestigious Le Sport spa Hotel

I think it’s great she’s holidayed in the Caribbean I hope some Ska or Reggae music will be collaborated in her new album.

Amy choose to visit the Caribbean island of St Lucia, St Lucia is a very small secluded island mostly shrouded in lushus tropical rain forests the landscapes are truly beautiful, I doubt she left the resort as there isn’t much to do in St Lucia but relax and catch some rays.

If Amy really enjoyed her stay in the Caribbean she may want to come back and experience some of the relax and chilled out culture, I recommend she looks into Antigua Holidays as this beautiful Caribbean country offers a modern touch to authentic Caribbean life where having a good time is a part of every day.

or she may want to consider it Dominican Republic Holidays Where she have experience Spanish inspired cultural vibes whilst enjoying the gleaming hot sun.

A year has since past from when an earthquake obliterated the third world country of Haiti which is situated in the Caribbean on the island of Hispaniola and shares it’s boarders with the Dominican Republic.

Yet another crisis has struck Haiti with devastating effects, the Haitians are far less fortunate the its well off neighbours the Dominican republic, third world life styles make drinking water, Food and Shelter hard to come by.

Cholera is a terrible disease bought on from contaminated drinking water and rotten foods is sweeping the country like plague and has already claimed over 2000 lives since October. Cholera infects the small intestine and causes a huge array of problems and leaves its victims in agonising pain.

many Haitians cannot afford medical treatment or supplies, Cholera is treated with antibiotics like many other diseases and infections.

The disease did spread into Haiti’s neighbouring country the Dominican Republic but was quickly eradicated with medical supplies because the country is far better off.

The Haitian and Dominican people like each other just as much the Israelis like the Palestinians do, fights and arguments are cause over who owns what land ,for this reason the Haitian people don’t look to the eastern boarders for aid, the only hope is that international aid arrives with mass Antibiotic’s which must be given to the infected people, but is it already too late because the infection is out of hand?

Many have called off their travels to the Dominican Republic due to its close proximity with Haiti which will majorly effects the Dominican Republic’s Economy.. Dr Lionel Fernandez the prime minister of the Dominican Republic Urges tourists not to cancel or delay their Holidays because the country hasn’t majorly been affected by its unfortunate neighbour’s outbreak.

Sun Seekers taking Dominican Republic Holidays Are one of the country’s major incomes, and without this key factor contributing the country’s economy there may be times hard Ahead for the Dominican Republic let alone the island of Hispaniola.

you wanted to go to the Dominican republic but have been put off by its neighbours infectious outbreak there many other Caribbean countries you can also visit Antigua Holidays Are Very popular But if you have your heart set on the Dominican Republic Holidays there’s always next year Caribbean Holidays 2011 you may as well book in advance to get yourself discount.

There’s a million fishing fanatics out there who dream of living out their fishing dreams in the Caribbean, the region is home to many “Game Fish” which are the prestigious biggens like Marlin, Sailfish and different species of sharks, This is an entirely new fishing experiences as the fight between Fishermen and the mighty large fish may last for several hours, In fact the fishermen have little control over the fish as its the fisherman and the boats job to tire the fish out by following it around for miles on a tight leash until it’s spent, once exhausted the fish can thenbe netted and winched on board.

Conventional offshore fishing aroundi the caribbeani s jsut as good because there’s are manybeautiful and wellsizedfish ready to snap up your bait like the fearsome barracuda.

If the thought of catching these awesome fish gets your blood pumping I recommend you have a deeper look into the astonishing fishing experience as each country has different policies and procedures. On your Antigua Holidays If you’re looking to go fishing the best place to start would be the famous Falmouth harbour because it has a large marina packed full of Charter boats.

On a Dominican Republic Holidays you will have to decide what side of the country you’d like to fish on as each side offer a totally different fishing adventure.

The southern more tropical inclined side offers sailfish marlin and Barracuda these are the while the northern front is home to many sub tropical fish which migrate through the seasons from king mackerel, Wahoo and Tuna.

Remember always be precautious when booking fishing excursions, I recommend you go for a licensed fishermen who will know where the best spots, Also do a routine check on the boat if it doesn’t look sea worthy or doesn’t have any safety equipment its probably best you give them a miss.

So fulfil your angling dream and book your Caribbean fishing dream holiday, you will also experience great fishing on Cuba Holidays

Caribbean is the only region which mass produces rum, traditionally drunk by sailors in the 18th century who sailed the region looking for unfound lands and transporting slaves the alcoholic drink found its way to every reach of the world becoming a popular drink till this day. Rum is made from sugar cane residue and which is then fermented to form an alcoholic substance, White and Brown Sugar produces different sorts of rum, White sugar cane produces white rum such as Bacardi whilst dark sugar cane produces a stronger tasting rum such as Havana club, Rum is drunk in several ways mainly with a soft drink and fresh lime, spices are also infused in beverage to take the bitter edge off of the taste.

Sugar cane naturally grows around many Caribbean countries; you may see many sugar canes on Antigua Holidays or Dominican Republic Holidays as the soils are rich and full of nutrients, the sun is forever gleaming and the tropical rains drench the land which is perfect for any species of plant to flourish.

The English discovered that the taste of the rum was improved when it was left to mature in a barrel over a couple of months just like whiskey does, they found the flavour was a lot less harsh and the oaky wood taste from the barrel complimented the flavours of the rum, even till this day rum is left to mature in wooden barrels just like its alcoholic counterpart whiskey.

In countries such as England you will mostly come across rum brands such as Captain Morgan’s, Bacardi, or Morgan spiced these are produced in England using modern day techniques and ingredients, In the Caribbean you mostly find Appleton’s rum which is made using authentic distilling methods you will find the taste is a lot more sweet, on Cuba Holidays your Gaurentee to see the Havana Club brand everywhere because it’s the national spirit and is popular the world over.

If youre in England like me you will be experiencing the bitter cold and numbing snow. as I am an Englishman i live a pessimistic life so i have negative views on every especially the weather, it really gets warm in England so its forever cold, but us English never get used to it.

When i eventually rolled out of my warm bed this morning into the bitter cold i thought to myself “I wish i was in the Caribbean! its always hot and sunny over there”? ……. Turns out its midsummer in the Caribbean region which means theres basking sun, warm waters and best of all no snow! This definitely trumps my current situation!

The People of the Caribbean don’t understand how lucky they actually are! Having a tropical climate which remains warm all year long, the surprising thing is the masses actually detest their summer because its blistering hot, all the beaches, cities and streets are baron as people dare to step out of the shade encase they catch too much sun and get burn’t this seems absurd to me as id personally be relaxing on the beautiful white beaches, a Chilled drink by my side and good book in my grasps, drenched from head to toe in factor 50 sun lotion then Id occasionally get up to have a paddle in the bath like waters, it just seems to good to be true, I wish the Caribbean people could understand what were going through they then might appreciate the amazing weather their blessed with.

Many sun seekers have recently been booking Dominican Republic Holidays i cannot blame them! It beats being covered in snow due to miserable weather, fortunate couples are planned or have booked their Caribbean weddings in preparation for their big day next year.

I would adore to go on Antigua Holidays Right now!! With the festive season just around the corner i highly doubt i could dig that deep into my pocket for a Caribbean Holidays so I say “Roll of the English Summer”.

London, Gatwick

Airports across England have either shut their doors or are experiencing delays on their flights. Six Inches of snow have halted nearly 600 flights resulting in thousands of passenger stuck for places to go without places to stay.

It’s not only Gatwick has had to close Airports located all over the country are experiencing problems; Heathrow England’s largest Airport is open but do expect delays also Edinburgh airport Scotland has been close because a heavy amount of snow has fallen in that area.

Gatwick’s Spokesmen declared the airport shut due to safety reasons, The airline industry will do anything to avoid another accident giving that it had a strike of bad luck over the last couple of years.

Passengers have been warned and have been advised to head back home, until over wise stated.

The Airlines have faced a hard blow over the last couple of year especially due to the world wide recession, Horrendous weather and Staff strike, I’m afraid to say that the future of many airlines looks dim especially if problems like this keep occurring.

Crisis is in the air because with Christmas approaching many People look to travel abroad either to visit their families or to take a Christmas Holiday.

People all over England hope for a white Christmas but the reality is there not worth the hassle the bring with them.

I would be going Crazy if i couldn’t take my annual Christmas Antigua Holidaydue to snow on the run ways!

I cannot see why they don’t use the same Salt n Grit techniques they used on the roads on the run ways the same principals applies?

Plan for the worse if you’re looking to travel over the coming weeks as the snow fall is forecasted so last for the next couple of weeks , who knows you may get you money refunded and you could book yourself an exotic Sri Lank Holiday or a Dominican Republic Holiday Later on in the year.
