Water Sports

There are so many different water sports to do in Barbados that it is great and because the weather is nice pretty much all year round and you can take part in everything from surfing to waterskiing and there are many schools around the area in which you can start to pick up a few skills from which is always a good thing. Another point to say around the topic of water sports is that they are very good indeed for excercise.

Tasting Rum

Yoho, Yoho it’s a pirates life for me, or for you if you fancy a bit of rum tasting and why not it is after all the birthplace of rum and the best rum in the world can be found here. Mount gay rum is supposed to the most loved and well known on the island and why not, they have been making rum since the very early 1700′s they have had a lot of time to perfect things.

Another popular thing to do on the island is actually fishing and you can find all kinds of different sea creatures when you do this including Wahoo, Dorado and the Barracuda, make sure you also look out for sharks. If you want to simply fish by yourself then you are more than free to do so but if you are one that likes a bit of competition then why not take part in one of the islands many tournaments?!

If Barbados still doesn’t sound like the right kind of thing for you then make sure you check out Egypt Holidays or Dubai Holidays as these offer out a lot too!

1. Trinidad is somewhere I would seriously recommend steering clear of. Take control of the ship that is heading there and turn around! Trinidad is one of the deadliest places in the world for tourists, with an inordinate amount of tourist deaths. Some of the people care nothing about you, all they want and need is your money and goods.
2. Haiti is another place similar to Trinidad. Just like Trinidad Haiti is quite dangerous as well, some people in this country consider stealing as entrepreneurial, not a country that you want to take a lot of money too!
3. Try your best to avoid Puerto Rico, now I am not suggesting that there is something wrong here, its just not the best of all the Caribbean Islands, you could find yourself very disappointed with the holiday that you have received!
4. Bermuda, but only if you are superstitious. Otherwise Bermuda can be very nice is some places. Bermuda is actually made of many islands, just make sure that you go to mainland Bermuda otherwise you could have a very lonely and boring holiday!
5. Jamaica is one of those places that if you are going to enjoy it, you need to have a large amount of money in order to do so. If there is a private hotel that you can get into, then this is the best option, if not then go to a different country.

There are so many fantastic islands to be recommended, St lucia holidays are relaxing and luxurious, not to mention modest in price, Barbados holidays are another one but for the younger generation, and finally you can try out Cuba holidays, which have improved greatly.

These two islands may appear to be the obvious choices but this is exactly why I am writing this article. St Lucia is one of the most popular places for weddings abroad, and especially in the Caribbean. St Lucia has some wonderful hotels and each has its own form of Spa Treatment, anyone’s dream if you just want to relax and let everyone else do the work. Their is one resort in particular that springs to mind, the Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort and now that it has been refurbished it is truly a wonder to behold now. Behind this monster of a hotel is a massive 22 acres of tropical forest and pathways carved through it. There are plenty of opportunities for you and family to find somewhere to host food and drinks!

Barbados is just around the corner, and the most easterly of the islands. Now I would recommend this for the younger groups, those that are going to take a few family members and some friends. Barbados is best known for it’s night life and the St Lawrence strip, where you can part all night long. The Hotel I would recommend to get married at is “The House” probably one of the most serene and surreal views and surroundings to get married in the world. This is a must look, even if it is a little pricey. Most Tour Operators will arrange for you to have the wedding ceremony for free if you stay for at least a week! They supply food and drinks after the wedding and then a list of venues you could visit to celebrate the rest of your honeymoon.

So weddings abroad, there is of course just St Lucia holidays or Barbados holidays, it all depends what you fancy!

So there is probably one island that is the best to visit and gets the best reviews, but which one of these is it. Well St Lucia is probably top of the list, with all kinds of holidays available. What an island, filled with spa resorts and relaxing places for you to chill out at. St Lucia, this is where you can travel to just to get yourself a nice sun tan, and not to mention a cracking massage (not bone cracking though). If you want to take your whole family on a Caribbean holiday and know they are safe, this is regarded as one of the safest islands in the Caribbean. These hotels all receive some of the best possible reviews and all of these same hotels all have some of the most stunning accommodation around. There are some luxurious hotels that want to give you a unique experience on St Lucia, and some provide a Safari tour in the Jungle.

Now that we know where we should go on holiday, and which is the best location, this next place you might like to consider avoiding. There is one island that springs to mind, and for one very powerful reason. Right at the south of the Caribbean, with a hint of easterly travel and you will find Trinidad. Now this island has a somewhat bad reputation with tourists, and fore one very powerful reason. Trinidad has a very bad reputation in the Caribbean for being the most dangerous place to holiday. Do you really need another reason to go on holiday to a different holiday. If it was my choice, I would go to St Lucia!

So the Caribbean holidays are just around the corner, where are you going to go, how do St Lucia holidays sound, maybe you like the clubbing lifestyle, in which case Barbados holidays are the best option!

The thing is actually finding the holiday that these celebrities are on? Let’s start at the Caribbean, somewhere that you would expect to find these celebrities! St Lucia is known as the luxury island. This is not for the clubbing or partying celebrity, this is for those that enjoy a spa or massage. Amy Winehouse, here is a perfect example of a celebrity that you could possibly meet on holiday. The best thing about this is that she stayed in St Lucia for a while, and was happy for people to come up to her and chat. She interacted with the locals and tourists, which was a fun experience for all.

Once again we stay in the Caribbean, and this time we are off to Barbados. Barbados is a favourite holiday location of one of the princes of the British sovereignty, Prince Harry quite enjoys a vacation here. Barbados offers everything a party going celebrity would need for a week or so. Barbados offers everyone including celebrities, the ability to party all night long, non stop and without interruption, and almost every night!

The next location is probably the most expensive and the highest in quality. Famous people and celebrities quite like to go on honeymoons here. This is where Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise ran off to for their honeymoon. Going for a nice walk along the beach and taking a trip to the spa hotel, this is what these holidays are for.

Which of these holidays best suits you, and who would you like to meet, would you fancy Maldives holidays with the stars or St Lucia holidays, maybe even Barbados holidays are more for you!

The Cruise ship holiday has done very well, and the ships themselves just seem to be getting bigger and bigger to accommodate more people. Cruise ships have been that little niche market, however now they are coming out of their shell a bit. This was a new thing that people could give a try, however you did need a lot of money. These holidays are now accessible by the general public and middle class, so more people are trying them out. Although you get a large amount of tourists on one ship, sometimes over 3 thousand, the massive size of this ship helps to make it able to cope with this. Cruise ships do have a hell of a lot of “stuff” aboard, some even cinemas, and there is always a performance at a lovely restaurant.

The more traditional holiday is that one where you don’t really travel that much, you just travel for a while in one instance and then settle down for your holiday in one location. One perfectly easy location to use as an example is the Caribbean, so let’s start here. There are so many beach holiday locations in the Caribbean, almost every island has a glorious beach on it. One main advantage with these holidays is normally the price, they are still expensive, but generally not quite as expensive as that which a Cruise holiday costs. If you like to move around the beach holiday would probably not be the best idea?

So what are you going to plan for your holiday next year, Caribbean holidays also come in that crucial cruise mix as well, where as St Lucia holidays and Barbados holidays are great, especially for those that just want to sun!

Barbados weddings. Barbados holidays have always been much sought after and the reasons are pretty obvious. There are the whitest sandy beaches you will ever see, and the sea is as clear as the sky. Not only this but the night life surrounding you on this island will make for a fantastic night out on your honeymoon, much romance and love. Barbados is also a remarkably cheap place to get married, the service is fantastic and the hotel quality is top notch. The majority of all resorts where you can have your wedding abroad will include the wedding in a package!

The Island of St Lucia. If you are looking for a wedding in the midst’s of the Caribbean, and Barbados doesn’t seem right, try this location. If you want a all out massive wedding and everything to be sorted out for you, the St Lucia holidays package can be modified to include; wedding coordinator, government fees, clergyman or magistrate, decorated garden or wedding site, witnesses, bridal bouquet and matching buttonhole, wedding cake and even a bottle of bubbly. St Lucia is covered in lush forest and is a truly beautiful island, not many others really compare to it, although it isnt very cheap.

Kenya weddings, specifically Pinewood Village. The beaches are absolutely glorious, and can you imagine yourself (the bride) being led down to the seaside by an entourage of Maasai warriors under floral archways to the marriage dais on the shore, this wedding is completely exclusive and not a single other wedding will be taking place on the same day as yours. If you choose the Pinewood Village package you will find a massive accompaniment of goodies; A manicure and pedicure for the bride to be, a lovely wedding cake, cocktails for all the guests, a massage for both bride and groom, sparkling wine for the celebrations, a chance to have the reception at the Peponi beach and all the government fees including registrar.

Any of these holidays are fantastic; I would recommend the Kenya wedding.
