Hi,
I tried HP6515 and iGO maps during my visit to Wien. Overall satisfaction is very good. About maps and devices.
Maps
Maps are really very precise, SW is very fast (I used it in car), streets are updated and it is easy to find location. POI database could be better (updated)
HP6515
Display size is not big enough, battery life is approx. 2h (you should have car charger). You can’t run WM5. Allocate max memory for running maps.
Popularity: 5%
Interesting things to do:
- Take solar recharger on green vacation!
- Garmin Nuvi 350
- Grant Park, Buckingham Fountain, Chicago
- Battery Park, New York City
- Review of Garmin Forerunner 305
- Configuration of Forerunner 305
- * NEW * – Commercial category
- Albert Memorial, London
- Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon, Burma
- Where to Go With the Kids This Christmas

Regarding HP6515, you have to download config files for Quick GPS Connection every two-three days, otherwise GPS will not work.
I used the Garmin 260W on a recent trip from Colorado to New York. It is an outstanding device. When I compare this device to my in-dash navigation system on a 2004 car, the Garmin wins, and when you compare the Garmin with a built-in navigation system, the price is considerably lower.
