Although it does sound like a strange thing to do it can prove to be very relaxing. Driving a boat can actually be very relaxing and many famous celebrities such as James Caan go out to a foreign country to drive their boat to relax a bit.
So although most people will not actually be able to afford to get their own boat there is no reason at all that you will not be able to afford to rent one for a short while. Renting a boat for the day could really help you out as there are a variety of different things that can be done with a boat.
Drive Around
The obvious option to take here is to take it for a bit of a drive and just enjoy the sea. Of course you could go out and buy a nice captain’s hat for the day.
Swimming/Scuba
Just find a nice location and jump in to feel the warmth of the sea. The one thing to remember is to stay out of the areas that are dangerous. It could be an idea to ask around to fins out the best places to go. If you are a bit of a proffessional then you could jump into the sea and do a bit of scuba diving.
Although this is a brilliant idea you have to be careful where you are doing it as there are many places where it is illegal to fish. Again the best thing to do is to check with locals to see where you can and cannot do a bit of fishing.
One thing I will say is make sure the boat has one of the decent marine batteries in it as you will then get the most out of the boat.
