Why green travel? Good question Why green travel? , answer is even smarter. I’ll try to give you few tips why is travel so important and what your are doing while in travel mode.
First now days it is trendy. All industries are now going green. But if you really practice green travel on personal level you will feel much better about yourself because you are doing something good for environment. And you are much more focused on travel, spending more time on preparation, reading more, investigation more and your brain exercise. During this process you learn more about local life, country or city what you are visiting. Agencies are also now offering green travel options and it will develop more in future. With more detailed planning you will probably save some money. So for beginning it is not so difficult to dive in travel.
More practical is that you will spen more time walking, it will definitely influence your weight and health conditions. Riding a bike is aslo great way of city sightseeing. Using public transportation in places where you have vacations you will meet locals, you will hear interesting stories and you will see hidden places and local jewels that are hidden in tourist brochures. Staying in hostel or camping is great for meeting other travelers and you can exchange information with others. If you need more confor check on internet where you can find hotel green. It is solar recharger for most of yours gadgets like mobile phones, PDA’s, blackberry, PSP, iPod etc. It has internal battery that is recharged via solar power. Size of battery depents from 6-16 hours of iPod music. Prices varies from 15 to 50+ EUR.

Imagine your are on camping or concert. We your devices is drained you just recharge it with battery and then fill battery with sun. Ways of where and who you can use this device is amaizing.

Green Hotel is environmentally-friendly property where employees are willing and knowledgeable to execute work that save water, save energy and reduce solid waste. Those activities are also saving money and present sustainable green travel and green vacations.
Green hotels can be recognized because they tkae care about: people with sensitivities to allergies, alternative energy or renewable energy sources, such as biomass, small hydro, solar, wind, geothermal, tidal energy; soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion provided in the guestrooms from a bulk dispenser; Composting; Cotton Towels and Linens; Donating to Charity; Educate Staff About “Green”; Environmental Cleaning; Gray Water Recycling; Hotel Recycle Bins; Newspaper Program; Promote “green” in Their PR; Sheet Re-use Program; Towel Re-use Program etc.

There are some associations like “Green” Hotels Association’s® that are interested in environmental issues. Some green hotels associations have ranking (nice green trees) that rate hotels by environmental level.

Walking is best way to look and feel city during your visit or holiday. Another, also very healthy and fun way of green city sightseeing is riding a bike. Most popular cities, like Paris or Barcelona has very developed public bike network. Paris has most developed public bike network (Velib) and it is great success. Of course they have problems with vandals and steeling bike but they show right way of green tourism. Barcelona has similar model, also extremely successful but main difference is that their bike network can be used only by residence of Barcelona not tourist. For tourist there are tourist agencies with same service.
So what you need for green city sightseeing on bike. You should be healthy ready for some adventure. You should have credit card as assurance instrument. Most important is that you have travel route planned. You can use lot of travel attractions on this site to build route based on your preferences. Also check stations where you can return bike. If you like, you can combine riding a bike with public transportation (like metro).
And what is green city sightseeing in future. Well defiantly public bike networks in cities should be expanded. Paris is thinking about public network of Small electrical automobiles.

Green travel by car means intelligent and sustainable way of using resources (time and fuel).
First step is to prepare well your travel. Preparing means defining of your route. Choose shortest route, check configuration of landscape. If you have Garmin use Ecoroute functionality. Keep balanced speed without many breaking and speeding up.
Use GPS device, add POI’s or add travel attractions that you want to see from dankuna site. If more cars are using GPS and use traffic avoidance services less CO2 will be produced.
When you are at vacation destination find alternative city transportation (check are they using bio fuel). If you are in good shape you can use bike for sightseeing. More about city sightseeing on bike in another post.
Stop at gas stations and green hotel where they practice green thinking.
I you can purchase hybrid car. Now days they are more then good.
